How to do foot spa at home

Keeping your feet clean is very much important. Your feet are precious; they carry you many a mile and help you to maintain your posture. It is therefore very much important to take care of your feet. Foot spa is a perfect way of indulging yourself. It will your feet clean and healthy! Remember to give your feet a good scrub every day and you will have youthful soft skin. Give your feet the attention they really deserve by pampering them––a foot spa is one great way of doing this, reviving your feet and allowing you to concentrate specifically on relaxing them and ensuring there is a great condition.


1) Soaking- Take a big bowl of warm water and add few drops of essential oil. Essential oil is good for reviving feet and also good for soothing them. And also you add one cup of powdered milk (dairy or soy) and one tablespoon of almond oil. Mix through. Soak your feet for at least ten minutes. Do not rinse. And if legs are swollen add one handful of salts or baking powder to the bowl. Remove the nail polish in order to clean it properly.

2) Nail and cuticle care-After that take a towel and pat your feet dry. Make sure that you do away with any accumulated dirt under toe nails and if your toenails have grown too big, trim it off with a toenail clipper. Push the cuticles back if you feel that is needed.

3) Remove dead skin-Rub your heels and feet with a pumice stone to remove all the dead skin from it. It will your feet clean and healthy! You can use a ready-made foot scrub or you can also make it by yourself. Just take a sugar and add little coconut oil to it start scrubbing.

4) Foot massage- Apply aloe Vera gel or any ready made cream that will make your feet soft and smooth. Massage it for at least 5 minutes. Your feet feel supple and adorable!

5) Nail polish- This is not compulsory for everyone. If you want to paint your nails, the time is ripe. Just go ahead and paint them in your favorite nail color! Wait till it dries off.
